The Challenge
The challenge was to simulate a iscsi target device using a filter driver.
The Solution
A Windows Storage filter driver was developed to intercept the requests and respond to the requests. It would receive iSCSI commands from the initiator and respond to it. This was done to test the iSCSI protocol stack.
